What this one is good at
Five faces at once
It can recognise up to five people in the same frame, with a face-recognition time below 0.2 seconds. That matters when a full shift reaches the entrance together.
A QR scanner of its own
QR is not being improvised through the face camera. A dedicated automatic scanner reads codes from a phone, paper or printed credential, with capacity for 15,000 QR codes.
Two 2MP cameras
One 2MP colour camera with wide dynamic range and one 2MP infrared camera check that the person is live. LED and dual infrared fill lights cover bright, dark and backlit entrances.
Card choices as well
ID card is standard, with Mifare and HID available as options, and an NFC reader can be added. The same model can therefore fit a new installation or an estate that already issues compatible cards.
Mask control when required
Mask detection can be enabled or disabled. The terminal can also recognise an enrolled person while a mask is being worn, subject to the configured policy and conditions.
A photo at every check-in and check-out
Kept with the punch and shown in Attendance.
Still useful when the network is down
It stores up to 500,000 events locally. Attendance receives them with their original times when the connection returns, while an optional backup battery covers a power cut.

With Attendance
The door happens, and it is in the software.
This is not a terminal you buy and then find an export routine for. It is integrated with Attendance at attendance.cy, and a punch at this door is in the live view before the person has finished walking through it.
Real time, not a poll interval
The gateway holds an open stream and pushes every event the instant it happens. No refresh, no five-minute wait, no "last synced at". Somebody checks in and the board has them.
Three layers, so nothing is lost
The push is the fast path. Behind it Attendance polls on a watermark with a five-minute overlap, and behind that the terminal keeps its own log: up to a million events. Cut the network for a week and every punch still arrives, carrying the time it was made.
Straight into hours, not a spreadsheet
The punch becomes a shift, the shift becomes hours, and the hours become an approved payroll batch: in one record, with the corrections attached to it. Nothing is re-keyed and nothing is reconciled by memory at the end of the month.
You can see the terminal itself
Online or not, when it was last seen, and whether collection is current or overdue: per unit, in the portal. A terminal that quietly stops reporting is visible the same day rather than when somebody queries a missing shift.

Not right for
