Fleet tracking for the whole working day

See your vehicles moving across Cyprus on a live GPS map. See who has clocked in, which driver took the van, where it stopped and what happened before the shift ended. Fleet sits inside attendance.cy, alongside the rotas, jobs and timesheets your managers already use.

From the depot to the job and back

  1. Start the shift. A worker clocks in at the office terminal or on a phone with GPS.

  2. Take the van. The usual driver is listed on the vehicle. If drivers share it, an iButton key identifies who took it.

  3. Follow the drive. The live map updates as the van moves. Speed, heading and vehicle status are there when the manager needs them.

  4. Arrive at the job. The vehicle’s stop shows how long it stayed. Jobs and tasks live in attendance.cy; employee time stays in the attendance record.

  5. Fill up. The fuel card statement is imported, and each fill-up joins the vehicle’s fuel record.

  6. Finish the day. The worker clocks out. The timesheet, vehicle trips and fuel records are available in the same platform.

GPS vehicle tracking you can use during the day

The map shows each vehicle as moving, idling, parked or offline, with its speed and heading. Open a vehicle’s day to see its trips, stops, kilometres and driving time. Its route appears on the map, so you can check a visit without piecing together phone calls.

Choose the alerts that matter to your fleet

Set rules for speeding, harsh acceleration, braking or cornering, crashes, towing, a tracker being unplugged, long idling, driving out of hours or entering a zone. Alerts go by email or through the app. Rules are set for your workspace.

Fuel records with the trip record close at hand

Import your fuel card statements and each fill-up joins the vehicle’s fuel record. Managers can review and correct the entries and see fuel use by vehicle and driver. Trips and idling hours give them context for a fuel entry.

A private trip keeps its kilometres private

For a driver’s private trip, attendance.cy keeps the kilometres needed for the mileage split but stores no position. Private mode is turned on with a switch in the vehicle or a weekly schedule set on the tracker. Vehicle positions are shown only to managers whose locations or departments cover that vehicle.

A tracker in the vehicle, settings on the website

Fleet uses a Teltonika FTC164 tracker with an IoT SIM. Its backup battery lets it keep reporting if it is unplugged. From the website, you can manage reporting frequency, power saving and the tracker’s own safety alerts for the company or a particular vehicle. You can also see how long the SIM data is expected to last.

Fleet tracking questions

What can I see on the live map?

Each vehicle’s position, moving or parked status, idle or offline status, speed and heading.

Can I check where a van went yesterday?

Yes. Open that vehicle’s day to see its route, trips, stops, kilometres and driving time.

How do I know who drove a shared vehicle?

An iButton key identifies the driver. Each vehicle also has a usual driver listed.

Can I choose which driving alerts I receive?

Yes. Your workspace can set rules for speeding, harsh driving, crashes, towing, unplugging, long idling, out-of-hours driving and entering a zone.

What happens if someone unplugs the tracker?

You can receive an unplugged-tracker alert. The FTC164 has a backup battery and can keep reporting after disconnection.

Does a private trip appear on the map?

No position is stored for a private trip. Its kilometres remain available for the private and business mileage split. Private mode is turned on with a switch in the vehicle or a weekly schedule set on the tracker.

Who can see a vehicle’s position?

Only managers whose assigned locations or departments cover that vehicle.

Where do the fuel records come from?

From your fuel card statements, imported into Fleet. Managers can review and correct each entry.

Can staff still clock in at a terminal or on a phone?

Yes. Fleet is part of the same platform as phone GPS clock-ins, terminals, shifts, leave, jobs, timesheets and payroll exports.

Does a vehicle stop automatically become paid work time?

No. Vehicle stops and employee attendance are separate records. Worked time follows the clock-ins and timesheet.
