Staff hours ready for your accountant

At the end of a pay period, your accountant needs the hours you have checked. Review attendance and overtime alongside approved leave in attendance.cy, then download the pay summary and export files.

Check the days behind the total

Open the pay period review to see each person’s days and hours. Check days awaiting approval before you close the period.

Keep the attendance review and the pay export in the same system. You can go back to the recorded days when a total needs explaining.

Keep overtime clear

Review regular and overtime hours before closing. The pay file can keep separate rows for each pay code and overtime multiplier, so your accountant can see how the hours are split.

When amounts from hourly rates are enabled, the file can also include amounts calculated from the rates recorded for each day. Agree the pay codes and file layout with your accountant.

Close the period after review

Close the pay period to create its batch of pay records. Open the batch to check the people, hours and amounts it contains.

The file belongs to a dated pay period. You can return to that batch when your accountant asks about a previous export.

Send the file your accountant needs

Download the batch as CSV or an Excel workbook. A PDF pay summary is also available for the current batch of a closed period.

Choose the file with your accountant before the next pay period closes. Attendance.cy keeps the hours and the export together for you to review.

Cyprus gross-to-net payroll is a separate add-on; live runs require activation, a matched parallel run and accountant sign-off.

Before you send the hours

Which files can I download?

Download CSV or an Excel workbook from the pay batch. A PDF pay summary is available for the current batch of a closed period.

Can the file show overtime separately?

Yes. With rows per pay code, the file keeps the hours for each code and multiplier separate. Your saved file layout decides how the rows are grouped.

Does every export calculate pay amounts?

That depends on your settings and recorded rates. Amounts from hourly rates are optional, so check that setting and the batch before sending the file.

Can I check an earlier period?

Yes. Open its batch from the Payroll page to review its records and download CSV or Excel. A PDF summary is available for the period’s current closed batch.
