Fuel by vehicle and by driver
Managers can review fuel use by vehicle and by driver. If more than one person uses a van, driver identification with an iButton key helps show who drove it; the vehicle also has a usual driver.

Put idling beside fuel use
Open the vehicle’s day for its kilometres, driving time and stops. Its fuel page adds the idling hours for the period. Those records give a manager something concrete to check when reviewing fuel use. Enter how many litres an hour the vehicle burns at idle, and Fleet estimates the fuel those hours used.

Fuel questions
Do we have to type the fuel entries in?
No. Import the fuel card statement and Fleet creates the entries. A manager can correct any of them.
Can I see fuel records for one vehicle or driver?
Yes. Managers can review fuel use by vehicle and driver.
Does Fleet read the fuel level from the vehicle?
No. Fuel records come from fuel card statements, not the vehicle’s computer.
Can I see how long a vehicle was idling?
Yes. Each vehicle’s fuel page shows its idling hours for the period, and its day shows trips, stops, kilometres and driving time.
